The legacy of a close-knit family!

Legacy Estates was designed with families in mind. That's only fitting, since the development was conceived and created by a close-knit family.

For decades, the McCarver family has lived and worked on land in northern Johnson County. They enjoyed the convenience of driving just a few minutes to town for meetings, shopping trips and school functions. But even more, they relished life in the country - peace, quiet, and plenty of room for family fun.

In recent years, the McCarvers noticed their friends and associates looking longingly at the land. More and more often, they heard the complaints. "The city just keeps growing." "Traffic is worse every year." "Our yard feels almost claustrophobic."

The dream of Legacy Estates was born - a place where families could enjoy an acre or two of their own and build a beautiful home. Plus, the McCarvers planned amenities such as a tennis court, playground, basketball court and more - so residents could enjoy the outdoors without leaving their neighborhood. Most importantly, the family is creating the development with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality. That way, Legacy Estates can be just that - their legacy. Legacy Estates is a Lane Garrett Custom Homes Development.
